HOW TO REDUCE THE COSTS OF NON-QUALITY AND INCREASE CUSTOMER SATISFACTION
On July 11 we organize, in collaboration with Istituto Italiano dei Plastici, a one-hour informative webinar on the FMEA methodology and its application for strengthening the quality system.
The FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) was born in the 60s for the Apollo program and developed from the 70s in the automotive industry. Today it’s applied in all industrial sectors and also in services.
Used with the involvement of the right resources (quality, design, production, suppliers), it’s particularly effective in enhancing the Quality System as a whole and in reducing the risks associated with the product usage, positively impacting customer satisfaction. It acts both at the project and process level, in order to overall strengthen the product / process and reduce the costs of non-quality, increasing competitiveness.
Its constant application makes it possible to achieve tangible results, such as the reduction of failures in operation, the reduction of waste and internal reworking, constant performance.
The webinar, planned from 16.00 to 17.00, is aimed at quality managers and employees, production managers and department heads, technical / engineering managers, maintenance managers and supplier quality personnel.
The main objectives of the information event are:
– present the fields of application of the FMEA;
– to understand the depth of analysis obtainable with the use of the methodology;
– to demonstrate the positive effects on the entire quality system.
